In March 2010 I started to work on new techniques for my portraiture images. These have evolved from straight-forward portraiture to human skull paintings, which in themselves are different types of portraits. I have made a series of 10 paintings. Deliberately using liquid paint as a tool instead of a brush. The outcome is not predictable as it is difficult to direct the paint precisely.
Throughout this period I have experimented with new ideas of abstraction and minimalism. This lead later on in to working with variations of the circle.
